87th THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL FAIR

Thessaloniki International Fair is an institution; an established exhibition event that is integrally linked to the history of Greece’s economic and cultural growth.To this day, since its foundation in 1926, it reflects the momentum and trends of domestic and international entrepreneurship. At the same time, during a 9-day celebration, it hosts and organizes several entertainment events for all ages.

Besides all else, TIF is the annual meeting point of Greece’s given political leadership with its citizens, aiming to inform them about its political and economic agenda for the upcoming year.

Honored Country – BULGARIA

A country with a strategic location, great nature and attractions that make it an excellent place for both business and tourism. Five pan-European transport corridors pass through Bulgaria, connecting Europe with the Middle East and Asia. Bulgaria is a member of the European Union and NATO and expects to join the Schengen area by the end of 2023. The country is also expected to join the euro area in January 2025, which will give a new impetus to investment there.

Bulgaria will be the Honoured Country at the most important business, financial, social, and cultural event of 2023, the 87th Thessaloniki International Fair, which will be held from 9-17 September at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre.

Bulgaria has been a participant in the TIF from the very first time it was organised in 1926 and, ever since, the neighbouring country has had a continuous presence at many TIF-HELEXPO general and trade fairs.

As pointed out by the Minister of Economy and Industry of Bulgaria, Mr Nikola Stoyanov, in a letter to TIF-HELEXPO management, the 87th TIF is the largest trade event in Southeastern Europe and the ideal event to enhance financial, business, political, cultural, and educational relationships between the two countries.

During a period of major reshuffling domestically and internationally, the 87th TIF will present all the new challenges in technology, innovation, environmental protection, energy, education, start-ups, and e-governance.

At the same time, the 87th TIF will also host and a number of entertainment events for all ages.
