ABOUT SAUDI ARABIA:

With a GDP exceeding $833 billion, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia holds one of the world’s largest economies.

With a steady annual growth rate of 3.73%, the country was ranked as the world’s fastest-growing major economy in 2022, surpassing India.

Another important initiative of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 is the National Industrial Strategy which promotes industrial development, attracting investment in the Kingdom’s economy and encouraging the growth of non-oil products and exports.

The Saudi government’s ambitious industrial plans aim to raise the industrial sector’s contribution to GDP to $240 billion. The strategy will also attract new industrial investment opportunities worth one trillion riyals ($266 billion).

Since the launch of the 2030 Vision, the number of industrial factories in the Kingdom has increased by around %50. The National Industrial Strategy aims to further increase the number of facilities to approximately 36,000 by 2035.

The total volume of investment in the Saudi industrial sector up to 2022 amounted to SR1.41 trillion, while the total number of factories reached 10,742.

Regarded as one the most influential countries in the world, KSA is a member of the G20, whose members represent around %85 of the global GDP, over %75 of the worldwide trade, and about two-thirds of the world population.

The value of Saudi Arabia’s annual textile imports is $7.32B, ranking the country as the world’s 25th largest importer of textiles. Textile products are the 6th most imported product in KSA.

Saudi Arabia exported $677M worth of textiles, making it the world’s 66th largest exporter. Textile products are the 11th most exported in Saudi Arabia.

THE VENUE

SAUDI STITCH & TEX 2023 will take place at the Riyadh International

Convention & Exhibition Center- RICEC – the country’s number one exhibition center. The center is within easy reach of all major cities via Riyadh’s King Khaled International Airport. It combines functionality, convenience, and adaptability with state-of-the-art facilities and the highest international standards in safety and security.

The modern international exhibition complex consists of four halls offering 15,000 square meters of indoor exhibition area and 5,000 square meters of outdoor space. The venue can accommodate up to 10,000 people.
